If you’re into diecast American Classic cars, then you’ve definitely heard of Maisto Toys. We here at Diecast Toy Cars know that many of our readers are avid Maisto model cars fans and thought we should bring you up to date on the latest happenings on that front.
Fans of the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air will be glad to note that later this year, Maisto cars will be releasing four “stock” ’57s in four paint schemes and four more in the Pro Rodz series with custom hoods, intakes, and more. These are awesome Maisto model cars for the diecast toy cars lovers.
Fans of more modern classics will be glad to know that Maisto Model Cars has signed a deal with General Motors to feature the HUMMER in all their outlets in both 1:14 and 1:16 scale as well as Maisto Toys in radio control 1:16 models.
The AllStar Rescue Force is really cool too, with Maisto diecast cars in Highway Patrol tan and white with light bar and other accessories on a Dodge Charger and Hemi SS in black and white. Awesome diecast toy cars!
Fire Rescue vehicles follow with Maisto cars in various models including Dodge, Toyota FJ, and more. Cool red and white with decals and custom wheels make these complete collectible Maisto toys.
Fans of the Maisto diecast model line are also aware that they do an official Harley-Davidson Maisto Toy series. This includes the Ford F150 HD pickup too! For the Maisto model cars collector, this is a must, we’ve heard.
All in all, there is definitely a lot to look at, lust over, and collect from Maisto Toys and we here at Diecast Toy Cars are definitely glad to see the company pushing the limits.

For diecast toy cars collectors and for model enthusiasts, the name Corgi says “European.” This British company has been making models in diecast for a long time and Corgi diecast trucks, Corgi diecast model cars, and Corgi diecast military marchines are all highly collectible. We here at Diecast Toy Cars had to show you the latest from the venerable Corgi diecast model company.
Outside of aircraft, the newest Corgi diecast model vehicles include the double-decker English bus in a new color scheme, the Triumph Herald and Stag Mk 1, as well as the Sierra Sapphire Cosworth diecast toy cars. The new Morris J2 Corgi diecast trucks as well as the beautiful Thornycroft Nippy tractor-trailer are great too.
All of these are newly available, but old favorites can also be found. One of our favorites is the Jack Odell Commemorative Model in the “Days Gone By” Corgi diecast trucks collection.
Corgi diecast military models include every European aircraft flown, basically, with the RAF Spifire and even an M151 A1 (WWII) Mutt Jeep model. Of course, beyond military, Corgi diecast fire trucks are possibly their most popular and famous line. Corgi diecast toys in this spectrum cover the entire gamut of European fire and rescue vehicles.
Diecast toy cars are the greatest collectibles around, you’ll probably agree, and if you’re into diecast toys, Corgi diecast toys are probably on your list. Corgi diecast model vehicles seem to be the models to own for European collectibles.

Since 1969, Johnny Lightning diecast cars have been selling like hotcakes to collectors of all stripes. Johnny Lightning cars are a favorite here at Diecast Toy Cars, so we had to let you know what is going on with this company.
The 1:18 scale wonders like the 1963 Corvette is almost always a favorite and the new International Scout (R25) Johnny Lightning diecast and model kits are the rage right now. More sport/street racer types will like the Johnny Lightning cars like the Viper ACR and others featured in BOLT (the Johnny Lightening magazine).
For the tiny collector, the small Johnny Lightning diecast models like the 1970 Plymouth Cuda 340 might be in order. These little gems include optional decals, only from Johnny Lightening diecast.
The ever-popular Head to Head series features popular muscle cars in Johnny Lightning cars diecast with a racing light in their signature toolbox display box. Like most other Johnny Lightening models, these Johnny Lightning diecast cars are also randomly “Lightning Strikes” in which even higher collectible rewards are included.
For the Johnny Lightning truck fan, there are few and far between Johnny Lighning diecast to choose from, but once in a while, one comes up. Keeping the eye peeled, you might run into a 1958 Ford, for instance. All collectors seem to love Johnny Lightening and Johnny Lightning diecast cars are some of our favorite diecast toy cars out there.

Of course, anyone who even nominally collects diecast toy cars know about ERTL. We knew that Diecast Toy Cars would need to look at them for you. ERTL farm toys, ERTL trucks, and even ERTL Nascar diecast cars are popular collectibles for the model enthusiast.
Some of our favorite ERTL diecast car models include the 1974 Dodge Monaco Police Car from ERTL diecast toy cars with the matching General Lee, 1969 Dodge Charger, of course. For racers, the 2 Fast 2 Furious ERTL diecast car RX-7 is a good one too.
ERTL farm toys fans will love the complete selection of John Deere and the Case / New Holland ERTL farm toys in a full lineup. Truckers and their families will want to see the line of diecast toy cars and big ERTL trucks too. The collectible, limited edition Spirit of Liberty semi truck can’t be missed.
ERTL Nascar diecast cars are, of course, true collector’s items for many lovers of diecast toy cars. Orange County Choppers fans will love the 1:10 models that include Mikey’s Bike and the Miss Lucy.
No matter what kind of Diecast Toy Cars you’re into, we here know you’ll definitely be interested in ERTL. Their lineup of cool models continues to build, with the latest ERTL Nascar diecast cars, ERTL farm toys, ERTL toy trucks, and other diecast toy cars coming out all the time.
